Profit Made Simple Membership — Terms & Conditions
By subscribing to the Profit Made Simple (the “Membership”), you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms outline the benefits provided, usage guidelines, and the policies that govern your membership.
Membership Inclusions
As a member in good standing, you will receive access to the following resources and support:
Monthly Live Q&A and Co-Working Sessions
Depending on your membership plan, you can attend live sessions to ask questions, get actionable feedback, or dedicate time to your bookkeeping with built-in accountability.
Personalized Bookkeeping Check-Ins
Receive expert review of your books to ensure accuracy and tax readiness. Get alerted to errors before they snowball and receive clear guidance on clean-up and corrections.
Priority Q&A Access
Submit questions via email, portal, or private form and receive personalized responses within 1 business day. No hourly billing or surprise fees.
Essential Tools & Templates
Includes month-end checklists, expense tracking worksheets, quarterly prep guides, and how-to tutorials for QuickBooks or Xero.
Optional Add-Ons & Support Upgrades
Need extra help? Members can book discounted 1:1 sessions or project-based support, including:
SOS clean-up services
One-time catch-up projects
Cash flow planning
Year-end prep support
What’s Not Included
This Membership does not include full Done-For-You (DFY) bookkeeping or accounting services. If the Client requires services beyond the scope of included support such as complete monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, or other DFY deliverables, and are considered out of scope services. Those services must be requested separate. They are available as optional add-ons at the currently posted discounted member rates and require separate scheduling and approval.
Terms & Conditions
Scope of Support
Membership includes unlimited incident support. An “incident” refers to:
One question on a specific bookkeeping topic, or
One product usage question related to QuickBooks Online.
Each support request may be limited to one incident per contact/request. Profits R 4 U dba Profits Made Simple reserves the right to determine what constitutes a reasonable request.
Misuse of Services
Profits R 4 U dba Profits Made Simple reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate support for any member whose usage is excessive, abusive, irregular, or fraudulent. Membership may also be terminated if payment cannot be processed.
Changes to Membership
Profits R 4 U dba Profits Made Simple may update or modify the terms, pricing, features, or availability of the Membership at any time, with notice provided via email or by posting updates in the client portal or on a company website.
Support Availability
Current support hours are Monday–Friday, 10 AM –3:30 PM MST. Support availability may vary due to holidays, maintenance, or events beyond our control.
Response Times
We aim to respond to inquiries within published response times, on your client dashboard subject to the conditions noted above.
Support Limitations
Support is limited to:
General bookkeeping questions (does not include advanced accounting or tax advice)
QuickBooks Online (QBO) assistance with basic features and functions (Does not include tech support for software malfunctions)
(QuickBooks Desktop is not supported)
Membership Term & Renewal
Membership coverage begins on the date of purchase. After the initial term of 1 or 3 months, the subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled in writing according to the termination policy below.
Termination Policy
Clients commit to an initial term of one (1) or three (3) months depending on the plan. To terminate, written notice must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the next billing date. Failure to provide notice results in billing for the next full term.
Access After Cancellation
Unless otherwise determined by Profits R 4 U dba Profits Made Simple, membership access will remain active through the end of the current billing cycle following receipt of a valid cancellation request submitted with at least 30 days’ notice. However, Profits R 4 U dba Profits Made Simple reserves the right to terminate access immediately if continued use is deemed to conflict with the Membership Terms & Conditions such as in cases of misuse, policy violations, or other circumstances at the Company’s discretion.
No refunds or prorated fees will be issued under any circumstance.
Non-Renewal Policy
If a member’s support usage exceeds what is deemed reasonable by Profits R 4 U dba Profits Made Simple, we may choose not to renew the subscription. In such cases, the member may be offered the option to purchase support separately on a pay-as-you-go or limited-incident basis, if available.
Refund Policy
Membership fees are non-refundable and will not be prorated.
